Longing for signs of life
This has been a long and snowy winter (which I love!) so I am ready for visible signs of life now, whether it be the spring crocus, the resilient mosses or the little, pointy green tips of the emerging hostas (when I push aside the thick layer of leafy mulch). My ears are filled with chirping birds when I wake and the drizzly rain is teasing the patient perennials resting deep in the dirt - soon to wake.
Remember that life is not a given. Remember that the sun that hits your face on that occasional day where it peeks out from behind the clouds is a gift. Soak up that vitamin D and join me in remembering how delicious its warmth can be.
Happy Spring, Friends! I hope you make the most of it!
